Pensacola Testing Laboratories, Inc. has provided nondestructive testing services to municipal, commercial, industrial and naval clients for 40 years. Our firm is a member of professional organizations such as the American Society for Nondestructive Testing, American Welding Society, American Society for Testing and Materials, American Council of Independent Laboratories, and the Florida Engineering Society.


Training and Certification is available for all methods except eddy current.

The Federal Aviation Administration and NAVSEA have approved our facilities for performing nondestructive metals testing. Our written procedures include ASME Sections 1, 5, 8, and 9 as well as ANSI B-31.1, B-31.3, NAVSEA, AWS, and ASTM.
     All tests are performed by experienced technicians and reviewed by our staff. Our department managers perform periodic spot-checks of all testing procedures. Our employees are dedicated to providing service in a timely and cost effective manner. Mr. Patrick A. Wheeler, President and General Manager, has had over 20 years experience in project administration and general materials testing, with specific expertise in nondestructive metals testing.
